Deborah Meaden, known for her presence on BBC TV series ‘Dragon’s Den’ owns ‘Fox Brothers’, a brand which has given her first-hand experience of what makes a world renowned, prestigious, luxury brand. Known globally for its fine woollen and worsted cloths, Fox Brothers has been producing the finest fabrics from its headquarters in the West Country since 1772.
Deborah, assisted by her team, consisting of Managing Director of Fox Brothers, Douglas Cordeaux and Retail Operations Manager at The Merchant Fox, Decca Lang, search for exquisite luxury goods, made specifically in Great Britain to compliment the wonderful fabrics produced by the Fox Brothers’ mill. Some items are made in workshops, others created to order by lone craftsmen working in solitude, tucked away in small studios in the far corners of the British Isles. A number of pieces created by The Merchant Fox are produced in factories and mills, however one common trait in every piece produced is the provenance that each item carries, made specifically in Great Britain by British craftsmen and women.
