One of the most influential online personalities finding themselves in the media spotlight today, Zoe Elizabeth Sugg, better known by her YouTube username, Zoella, has over 11 million subscribers to her YouTube channel, with 9.3 million followers on Instagram, and 5.95 million followers on Twitter.
On the 6th September 2016, the 26 year old YouTube star sent her social media channels into frenzy with the announcement of a forthcoming homeware line, sharing photos of the line across her Snapchat, Twitter and Instagram channels, under the hashtag ‘#ZoellaLifestyle‘. Dressed in pastel tones of grey, crème and rose gold, the Zoella Lifestyle range includes a number of soft furnishings and homely interior features, such as slogan cushions, scented candles and stationery. Rumours of the line and of Zoella’s new direction were circulating the internet for weeks, and so the announcement of Zoella Lifestyle puts these to bed in a gracious fashion.
While no date has been confirmed yet, it’s guaranteed that with Zoella’s popularity, the Zoella Lifestyle range will sell out in a flash. It’s suspected the homeware range took direction from the time she spent working as an apprentice at an interior design company in 2009, when the internet was first introduced to Zoella.
The Zoella Lifestyle range is the latest string in Zoella’s bow, joining her novel, ‘Girl Online‘, published in November 2014, and its sequel ‘Girl Online: On Tour‘, published in October 2015, with the pair expected to become a trio in November of 2016.
